1. Original Characters To Not Die
No one wants any of the original trio to die. Many Star Wars fans are introduced to the movies during childhood, so to lose any of the characters would be a cruel blow, in particular one of the three main heroes. Seeing Luke, Leia, or Han die would be a horrible moment, even if it were to make sense going forward. That's increasingly looking like it will happen though, with Han Solo the favourite to die in The Force Awakens. If this is about passing the torch to the new generation, and he is the mentor to the new heroes (and it all rhymes) then you can see the thinking behind his demise. No matter how difficult will be to take, and there's going to be tears during the midnight screening, it would be more surprising at this stage if all the original cast made it through to Episode VIII.
