Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 10 Ultimate Fan Demands That Will Never Happen
2. Mark Hamill To Have The Lead Role
Since Star Wars, Harrison Ford has gone on to become one of the biggest genuine movie stars of the last 35 years, yet he wasn't the lead hero of the film. That was Mark Hamill, who himself has had a fine career (in particular with his voice work). Naturally, then, it was expected when both were confirmed to return that Mark Hamill would have a major role yet again, presumably serving as the mentor for the new generation of heroes. As things stand, though, that's going to be the role Ford's Han Solo fulfils, while Hamill - despite being second on the billing - hasn't even appeared yet, save for his hand on Artoo. The question of where (or indeed who) is Luke Skywalker will be driving the film's plot, but the man himself is hardly going to be in it from the looks of things, with maybe 15 minutes or so on screen.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
