13. Rey's Speeder
Ever since Rey was first spotted speeding through the deserts of Jakku on this Speedter, it's become a defining piece of imagery for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While very different to the Landspeeder Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobu travelled to Mos Eisley in, there are definitely some similarities, but it turns out that this isn't a common new form of transport for those living on this or any other planet. "Its a beat up tractor thats a hand-me-down or scavenged item," explains Star Wars: The Force Awakens production designer Darren Gilford. "It was meant to look like a piece of farm equipment, something thats not going real fast compared to what a sports car would do. But it has high-end torque like a tractor that needs to haul a trailer." Rey is clearly someone who makes the most of her surroundings then.
