10. The New Look Millennium Falcon

Inevitably, even the most minor of details in the footage shown off from Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been analysed in great detail, and something which has stuck out like a sore thumb to many fans since set photos from the movie started doing the rounds is the fact that the Millennium Falcon is now sporting a rectangular radar dish. So, why the change? It turns out that the reason is more practical than you might think! "We decided to go with a rectangular radar dish instead of a circular one because it got knocked off at the end of Jedi,€ says Gary Tomkins, senior art director for vehicles and spaceships in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. "So we liked to imagine they replaced it with a more up-to-date one.€ It's hard to argue with that reasoning, right?
