Star Wars: The Force Awakens - 6 Celebrities Who Didn't Like The Movie

2. Neil DeGrasse Tyson Couldn't Deal With All The Scientific Errors

Everybody likes Neil deGrasse Tyson. Well, they did, until he decided to attack Star Wars: The Force Awakens for its... scientific inaccuracies? Yes, the scientific mastermind decided that it would be a good idea to call out J.J. Abrams' movie because it decided not to adhere to the laws of physics. Tyson wasn't happy with the way that BB-8 moved, claiming that "a smooth rolling metal spherical ball would have skidded uncontrollably on sand." He also had beef that the TIE fighters "made exactly the same sound in the vacuum of space as in planetary atmospheres." Have you ever seen a Star Wars movie, Neil deGrasse Tyson? C'mon! These nitpick comments led to something of a backlash where Star Wars fans were concerned, which resulted in the scientistic deeming them to be "a prickly bunch." You hear that, Star Wars fans? You're a prickly bunch! Can't argue with it, either: it's science.
