As that special time of the year grows ever nearer, adults and children alike continue to merrily cross the days off their calendars with their eyes on that huge date in December. No, not Christmas: that's only the second most important day in December 2015, thanks to one of the biggest events in modern cinematic history. On December 17 millions of us will be heading to a galaxy far, far away in the hope that it'll be worth the damn effort this time around. Despite some bridges being burned with the last three movies, the prequels seem to have been put to the back of most fan's minds, hopeful that they won't have to make room in there for another trilogy's worth of crap. What are the odds of this happening? Well, quite low, in my opinion, but as Star Wars fans we would be lying to ourselves if we said that we weren't even a tad concerned about how The Force Awakens might turn out. Though the exact details of the plot are still unknown, what is certain is that Saga's original trio have returned to reprise their roles as Han Solo, Princess Leia and Luke Skywalker. That's awesome news for the die-hards, there's no denying that. Set thirty years after the events of Return of the Jedi, we're all itching to see what has become of our heroes in The Force Awakens, but will we be happy with what we see? Given the important part Luke Skywalker looks likely to play in Episode VII, is it wrong to wonder if Mark Hamill is up for the challenge? Having endured a somewhat difficult career after hanging up his lightsaber, Hamill now has to dust himself off and play a major role in one of the most adored franchises in the history of film and pop culture, a franchise that he that he helped to create. There's a lot riding on his performance, and it would be crushing to see him blow his shot at a comeback and derail his beloved Star Wars in the process, but here are 6 reasons that he could do exactly that...
