7. Lupita Nyongo Is A Yoda-Style Jedi
One of the aspects of The Force Awakens that director J J Abrams has made clear is that it will pay homage to the original trilogy - in this respect, then, it's entirely likely that there will be a character along the lines of Jedi Master Yoda. While some might assume that it will be Andy Serkis who plays such a character - he is, after all, the go-to guy for motion captured creatures in modern cinema - some fans have theorised that this character will in fact be played by Oscar-winning star of 12 Years A Slave, Lupita Nyongo. The theory goes that the non-human hand seen passing the lightsaber over in the trailer is that of a character named Rose (based on the name of one of the Pinewood studio sets "Rose's room"), and that a flashback sequence will explain how she came by the lightsaber before passing it on. Nyongo's character hasn't been announced yet so there's a possibility this theory could prove to be correct.
