8. Kylo Ren Isn't The Only One To Wield A Lightsaber

For Star Wars fans who like their merchandise, Force Friday was glorious. As has become the case with many films over the years though, some of these toys revealed plot details you have to believe Abrams would have preferred to see held back for the movie itself. Disney no doubt approved everything which was put on sale of course, but it's hard to believe that they ran each and every item past the secretive filmmaker. Of all the items which could have dropped spoilers for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it was a Halloween costume for Rey which ended up spilling the beans on what sounds like a key scene in the movie. The character will apparently be among those to infiltrate the Starkiller Base at some point, but when she gets split from the group, Rey finds herself in a room, "Completely surrounded by Stormtroopers with blasters and Knights of Ren with lightsabers." So, yes, that's confirmation that Kylo Ren is going to be far from the only lightsaber wielding villain in The Force Awakens. Is he their leader? Is Abrams focusing specifically on him because of who his parents are? Those are a couple of possibilities, but this costume not only revealed more about a group who have so far been a mystery, but also detailed a key scene in the movie's third act. Whoops!
