The Mon Calamari commander was already spotted in the background of one of the practical costume shots earlier in the footage, and here's confirmation that he - or at least his race - will be back for the sequel.
Rumours surfaced earlier in the year that the eminently quotable character would return for The Force Awakens, and it seems Disney have taken those rumours - and the reactions - to heart by consciously teasing the character's involvement.
Let's just hope they've brought back Erik Bauersfeld to voice him.
