11. Poe Dameron

There was some suggestion that Poe was somehow related to Princess Leia, but the canon comic Shattered Empire ironically seemed to shatter that theory by introducing his actual parents as two Rebel pilots. So there goes the possibility of him being a secretly Force powered replacement for Han Solo. He will still be this generation's Han Solo, of course: his parentage actually confirms that somewhat, since he's the progeny of two pilots who mashed their privates together to make one super pilot. The teaser trailers also suggest he's something of a rogue, like his spiritual forebear, who gets himself captured by Kylo Ren's forces, so it's probably best to think of him as an anti-hero who doesn't play by the rules, rather than a powerful figure. His skills as a pilot will no doubt come in very handy though, so it's not as if he's entirely clipped.
