11. Kylo Ren (Adam Driver)

Why He Could Live: Because he just looks too bada** to introduce and write off in one movie, plus given Lucas' prior habit of introducing intimidating enemies who end up being hugely underwhelming (namely Darth Maul and General Grievous), the filmmakers will no doubt feel like they have something considerable to prove. Why He Could Die: Given that Benicio del Toro is already being eyed for a villain role in Episode VIII, many have taken this as a hint that Kylo Ren will be a self-contained baddie for Episode VII. Also, it's widely believed that Kylo isn't the new trilogy's "big bad", but rather a lackey of Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis), so it would make sense that he bites it at the end of the movie. Prediction: Kylo hopefully puts up one hell of a fight, but he's definitely toast.
