3. Some Ridiculously Awesome New Creatures
One of the joys of Star Wars is that it's a world populated by all manner of creatures, giving us numerous memorable alien designs, and it looks like we're getting plenty of that in The Last Jedi.
The standout is, of course, the little guy above. This is believed to be called a Porg, and they will be the native inhabitants on Ahch-To. They've been described as caretaker creatures, and live in the stone huts we see earlier in the reel. We get another Porg later in the footage, and we should see a lot of the puffin-esque creatures on Ahch-To.
Among the other notable creatures, there's this totally badass snowy space wolf (I mean, come on!), and a huge donkey-horse hybrid. That's reportedly called a Falthier, and appear to be another creature we'll encounter on Canto Bight.
They're all pretty great, and much-needed as The Force Awakens didn't quite deliver in terms of new alien creatures. Disney will be rubbing their hands too, because they're going to sell *so much* Porg merchandise come Christmas.
