9. Ahch-To's Own Species

Although it was made pretty clear, it's now 100% confirmed that the first Jedi Temple is indeed on Ahch-To, a location that dominated the trailer and will play a major part in at least the first act of Episode VIII.

In terms of more of a reveal, we learn that the huts - which you can see in the image above - are home to an indigenous species on Ahch-To, which are described as caretaker creatures, with the only extra detail offered by being that they're "not Ewoks," according to Johnson.

It's among these creatures, in this sort-of village, that Luke has been living. We've heard talk of a new bird-like species being in the movie on Ahch-To, and this would seem to somewhat confirm that.
