Yes, Kylo Ren's scar has shifted, which Johnson previously explained was because the positioning looked "goofy".

Much more important to the character are the internal scars, with the act of killing his father weighing heavily on him during the course of The Last Jedi, with Adam Driver saying:

"I feel like almost everyone is in that rehabilitation state. You know, I don’t think that patricide is all that it’s cracked up to be. Maybe that’s where Kylo Ren is starting from. His external scar is probably as much an internal one.”

Driver has been taking getting into character pretty seriously, distancing himself from his castmates on-set. This includes declining a lunch offer from Mark Hamill, with Hamill describing him (in a positive way) as "moody and intense". John Boyega, however, wasn't quite as happy to let him be, explaining:

"I give Adam hugs randomly, just for no reason. He just stands there. He just waits for me to be done.”
