Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 15 Biggest Questions We Need Answers To

1. Will The Jedi End?

Following on from that question, then, the next logical point to ponder is whether or not Luke will actually succeed. He believes the Jedi must end, but will they?

Based on the movie's title alone you'd think it will, because, well, it's called The Last Jedi. And if Luke, the only true Jedi remaining, is no longer adhering to that structure, then you could say it has ended already, especially if he trains Rey to be something else altogether.

At the same time, though, doing away with the Jedi is doing away with 40 years of established Star Wars history. It'd be an extremely bold move that could open the door for all kinds of fresh avenues to be explored, but still, this is Star Wars, they're the Jedi! Can that really end in favour of becoming something wholly different? I guess we'll find out in December. Maybe.
