By far one of the most iconic quotes from the entire Star Wars saga is Obi-Wan's insanely bada** warning to Darth Vader ahead of their lightsaber duel: "If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine."

Luke completes his transformation into the new Obi-Wan when he faces off against Kylo Ren at the end of the movie, warning that if he strikes him down, he'll never go away. It's a fun riff on the original line without copying it verbatim, and a perfect illustration of just how pointless trying to kill Luke truly was.

1. "Our Princess, Carrie Fisher"

Though the Star Wars movies have never been one for including post-credits scenes, those who stuck around for a few minutes of The Last Jedi's credits were greeted with a tasteful, touching tribute to the late Carrie Fisher.

After the first batch of credits, the words, "In loving memory of our Princess, Carrie Fisher" appear on screen, providing a small but poignant recognition of Fisher's iconic work on the franchise, and how dearly she'll be missed moving forward.
