Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 31 Easter Eggs & References You Need To See
30. Milk...But It Ain't Blue
With Luke Skywalker having spent many, many years on the isolated island of Ahch-To, the question soon arises: what exactly does the Jedi do for sustenance?
This is answered shortly after Rey starts pestering Luke, as he's shown going on a resource run, which includes milking a native, four-breasted beast, and the milk just so happens to be green in colour.
This is no doubt a nod to the series' iconic blue Bantha milk, which has appeared numerous times throughout the series (most recently in Rogue One). One has to wonder, what other milk colours are there in the Star Wars universe?
29. "I Have A Bad Feeling About This"
One of the most iconic lines in the history of the Star Wars franchise is "I have a bad feeling about this", which up until The Last Jedi has been spoken at least once in every single major Star Wars movie (including Rogue One).
Its omission in The Last Jedi is therefore especially surprising, and considering Rian Johnson's hugely meticulous eye for detail, it seems unlikely the line was excluded by accident.
Given how eagerly the film shakes off the nostalgia bug and genuinely surprises the audience, Johnson most likely felt like he'd be including the line just to include it, and some nine movies in, haven't we all had enough of it by now anyway?
