Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 39 Things We Learned From The Director's Commentary

The Last Jedi Opening Crawl

As with every Star Wars episode, The Last Jedi opens with a crawl, and in his commentary, Johnson reveals that it was actually the very first thing he sat down and started writing when he came to do the first draft of the movie.

Despite that, it was actually the very last thing that he finished, which wasn't until the last possible second before the edit had to be locked as they were still making tweaks to the exact wording and grammar.

NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far. A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
