Star Wars: The Last Jedi - 6 Biggest Reveals From Force Friday II
2. BB-9E
BB-8 has some competition. While the droid will be stealing all of our hearts once again, he's now got a direct opposite number in the First Order, with the black BB-9E.
BB-8's evil twin, we've seen and heard a little about him before, but the Sphero toy really shows him off in all his glory. He has a flat head compared to BB-8's spherical dome, and his own distinct markings, and will be the First Order's answer to the astromech. The fact that he has a Sphero toy suggests he should have a decent role in the film too (toys don't always make it into the film - see The Force Awakens' Constable Zuvio or Rogue One's C2-B5). Furthermore, it looks like he'll be getting around a bit, since he's included in the LEGO sets for both Kylo Ren's TIE Silencer and the First Order Star Destroyer.
