It's not a paticularly revelatory detail, but it seems Del Toro's character wll be called DJ, or that will be a code name that is being used in the production. Or those are his initials.

The only real link that suggests is perhaps to Dee-Jay, the third-degree droid designed by his Jedi creator to protect the Lost City Of The City on the fourth moon of Yavin. But that would be pretty obscure (unless he's going to be a cyborg masquerading as a human and this is his tongue-in-cheek nod?)

It's probably more likely to be a code-name.
