6. Admiral Holdo Not Telling Poe What She Was Up To

Can someone, anyone, explain what the f**k Admiral Holdo’s plan was?

She’s appointed command after Leia has a little trip into space (more on that later), and then proceeds to spend the film flitting between good deeds and being a control freak. Is she perhaps a mole for the First Order? Just a bit full of herself? We’re definitely supposed to dislike her, being she’s up against Poe for the duration.

Jump to the end, and her plan all along was to let the escape shuttles leave and jet off down to Crait. So… why all the waiting? And more importantly, why didn’t she tell Poe this?

Poe, Finn and Rose go off on their own rogue mission precisely because of a lack of a plan - something that could’ve easily been prevented, if Holdo wasn’t so pointlessly cagey.
