14. R2-D2

R2-D2 is essentially BB-8 before he was usurped by the new pretender. He's the older, probably slightly more bitter model of companion droid - who always seemed to be more affectionately considered by Luke Skywalker than C-3PO for some reason - and is powerful in only the same very slight ways.

Sure, he's bulkier than BB-8 and less nippy (he doesn't really look build for swiftness or streamlining), but this little droid has been through some serious STUFF, and experience counts for a lot. He was never intended for battle, but has shown himself surprisingly useful in the past (during The Clone Wars), and he's a far braver unit than C-3PO.

But again, loyalty and resourcefulness only get you so far.
