Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Power-Ranking Every Character

15. BB-8

He might be another character accused of being designed solely to sell merchandise, but BB-8 was a huge boost to The Force Awakens, and there will be very few fans who aren't excited to see more of him. That doesn't mean he's partiuclarly powerful however: like all droids, he's essentially a Swiss Army Knife with a personality (as delightful as it is), and though he has SKILLS, he could still be punted off the battle-field, which makes him somewhat vulnerable.

BB-8 is resilient - thanks to his personality - and a good recipticle for hiding plans thanks to durability and guile, but that just means he's good at running away, which can't count towards a power-set, per se.

Also, according to his creator, Neal Scanlan, BB-8's chief power is his ability to manipulate people, which he uses throughout The Force Awakens "like children do to get his own way" to serve his mission. It's not so much a power to write home about, but it helps him achieve his goals at least.
