Star Wars: The Last Jedi Trailer - 10 Things We Want To See

There's about to be an awakening, and you will feel it.

Today a million voices will cry out in cheer, as it's here we'll be getting our first look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Fans have been clamouring a long time for a first Episode VIII teaser, largely down to the fact that the first look at The Force Awakens debuted 13 months before release.

They were unique circumstances though, and as expected The Last Jedi is following the marketing strategy of Rogue One, allowing the previous movie to have its theatrical run and home release, and then hyping the new one with an April trailer (quite how Han Solo will fit into this, *if* it keeps its May release date, is unclear).

So with Star Wars Celebration underway, and a The Last Jedi panel featuring Kathleen Kennedy and Rian Johnson kicking off this afternoon (U.K. time), a trailer is pretty much nailed on to arrive. Good Friday indeed.

Being the first teaser it won't give too much away, and nor should it. It could hype this movie with nothing more than the title and theme, but there's still plenty that it needs to have in there.
