4 The Flash-Back Hint

The two shots of flaming destruction in the trailer seem to suggest that we're going to see a flashback of the destruction of the Jedi School Luke ran. In other words, we're going to get this trilogy's version of Order 66 (which was definitely one of the stand-out moments in the Prequel trilogy) as Luke explains why he has changed his stance on the Jedi so much.

Hopefully, this also means we'll get to see some of Luke training Kylo Ren at the school too and Ben's eventual betrayal and turn towards Snoke. Seeing that as a counter-balance to Rey's training with Luke - which will presumably more fluid and less tied to the rigid principles of the Order - is an exciting prospect.

I fully expect this to be the first emotionally loaded sequence in the film (no doubt balanced with something else devastating at the end), and it should answer a lot of hanging questions.
