1. The Jedi And The Sith Will End

Although the new trilogy has had some Dark Side Force-users in the way of Supreme Leader Snoke and Kylo Ren, it's yet to have an actual Sith. That's going to change with The Rise of Skywalker, which will bring back Emperor Palpatine, while there are theories the 'rise' in question will be Kylo becoming a Sith under the old Emperor.

On the Jedi side, it's on Rey to take the order forward after Luke's death, and the cover story here notes that they've heard Rey has pretty much completed her training by the start of Episode IX, which picks up one-year after The Last Jedi. But the most intriguing line with relation to this dichotomy is:

"But the stakes go even higher than that, cosmically high. Sources close to the movie say that [The Rise of] Skywalker will at long last bring to a climax the millennia-long conflict between the Jedi Order and its dark shadow, the Sith."

It's not concrete, but it's rather likely. How do you bring that conflict to an end? Does it mean removing the Sith for good, or both Jedi and Sith? Or do they find a way to co-exist? One of the popular theories for the title of this movie was Balance of the Force. That didn't come to pass, but the concept of balance looks like being a key part of the Skywalker Saga's conclusion.
