Star Wars: The WORST Scene In Every Skywalker Saga Film
1. The Rise Of Skywalker: The Desert Showdown
It’s probably a lot less controversial to say that the Rise of Skywalker is the worst entry in the sequel trilogy. Some might even go so far as to say that it’s the worst movie in the entire Star Wars franchise.
While that might be a touch hyperbolic, there are certainly more bad scenes than good in this instalment. The main problem is that a lot of them are fundamentally built on flawed logic and nowhere is this more evident than in this scene on the planet Pasaana. Rey, Finn, Poe, and Chewbacca are about to escape from the First Order’s attempts to capture them when Rey senses Kylo Ren nearby and wanders out into the desert.
Her masterplan is to backflip over his ship, which he is attempting to ram her with for some reason, and fight him one-on-one.
This wildly selfish action leads to Chewbacca getting captured and, as far as the main trio know for a while, killed. This is a scene that was clearly set up for a cool visual without any real thought put into it. Which describes most of this movie, come to think of it.
