Steven Spielberg: EVERY Movie Ranked Worst To Best

11. Minority Report (2002)

ET The Extra Terrestrial
DreamWorks Pictures

One of the more underrated gems of Spielberg's career, Minority Report is both a flashy action and an understated sci-fi epic.

In a world where cops can stop a crime before it actually happens, star officer John Anderton (Tom Cruise) finds himself on the run from his colleagues and on the trail of an old, unsolved murder.

A deeply intelligent character study, an intriguing murder mystery, and a smart morality tale, Minority Report works on every level, putting forward numerous ideas about the world and people whilst also drawing up some fantastic characters thanks to the likes of Cruise, Colin Farrell, Samantha Morton, and the late Max von Sydow.

Haunting and twisted, this is a film designed to stay with you.

I get to write about what I love, so that's pretty cool. Every great film should seem new every time you see it. Be excellent to each other.
