Steven Spielberg: Ranking His Movies From Worst To Best

25. Hook (1991)

hook Even Spielberg's best films often feature goofy, childish moments that are borderline cringe-worthy: E.T. getting drunk, the sneezing Brachiosaurus, Indiana Jones' Scottish accent, and many more. Hook manages the unbelievable achievement of being comprised almost entirely out of such cringe-worthy scenes. From Tinkerbell's antics to the baseball game to pretty much anything involving the Lost Boys, the film is entertaining but ridiculously over the top, and even the excellent ensemble cast can't save it from being just a little too silly.
