7. There's Going To Be A Love Triangle

You might not think that romance really has a place in a movie like Suicide Squad, but with a big chunk of it clearly set to focus on the deranged relationship between Harley Quinn and The Joker, it's clearly going to factor into this release in a very unexpected and unusual way. In fact, it almost sounds like this will be a break up movie if anything! "It's about breaking free of The Joker and becoming this fully actualised, independent person," director David Ayer explains. That really is a metaphor for everyone's journey here." However, it sounds like Harley may just find a new love in the form of Will Smith's Deadshot, as the actor spilled the beans on the relationship between Floyd Lawton and Harley. "Harley is the biggest troublemaker, but Deadshot's actually eyeballing her a little bit. There's a pretty ragged romantic triangle there." That could spell trouble for the hitman with The Joker of course, but it sounds as if Deadshot is the one fans will be rooting for despite the fact that he is indeed a cold blooded killer. "As the movie opens, he has a really big career score. He's looking to turn over a new leaf with his daughter after the hit, but it goes wrong. It goes terribly, terribly wrong. And it lands him in Belle Reve for life." Could that hit be the long rumoured scene which sees Deadshot sent to assassinate The Joker? Time will tell!
