Suicide Squad 2: 12 Perfect Villains (And Who Should Play Them)
2. Doug Jones As Black Spider
Black Spider is a recent addition to the Suicide Squad in The New 52, viewing himself as above the rest of the team and harbouring a great deal of resentment towards them.
Though his cunning intelligence and supreme combat skills make him a force to be reckoned with, his most significant contribution to the team is as a traitor, eventually turning on the Squad to his own ends and subsequently being imprisoned for it.
It'd be interesting to see whether or not Suicide Squad 2 would actually adapt his treacherous arc or just keep him in the team because, frankly, he looks too awesome to waste on a potentially small supporting role in a single movie.
Legendary cinematic chameleon Doug Jones, who has played the likes of Abe Sapien in Hellboy and the Pale Man in Pan's Labyrinth, would bring an unsettlingly wiry quality to Spider's movements, ensuring his action sequences would look like nothing else in the movie. Plus, he's great with voices.
