8. Guy Pearce As Captain Cold

Though Wentworth Miller is doing terrifically entertaining work as Captain Cold in The CW's Arrowverse, that shouldn't preclude the DCEU, a totally separate continuity, from adding the character to its Suicide Squad lineup.

While some viewers might still be wary of seeing an ice-based villain on the big screen after Batman and Robin's infamous treatment of Mr. Freeze, if the tone is right, Captain Cold could bring plenty of levity to the table.

Let's face it: there's gotta be a scene where one of the Squad's members p***es him off, so he lets his freeze gun loose on them. It's surely too fun to resist.

This is a tough one to cast because Miller is so good in the role, so it's probably best to just go in a totally different direction. Guy Pearce not only has the chin for the part, but proved in Iron Man 3 that he can do superhero villainy just fine.
