Suicide Squad 2: Casting James Gunn's DCEU Sequel

11. Dave Bautista - Solomon Grundy

It might not be entirely possible, but it would be great if Dave Bautista's commitment to following James Gunn to Suicide Squad actually lead to him playing a character in the sequel. Because as good as he is as Drax, you have to suggest that a lot of his performance has to do with the direction of Gunn.

With that consideration taken, it would make sense for Bautista to follow Gunn AND to play a character who could take advantage of the work they've already done together. Ideally, that means someone large, with an emotional core and the potential for a comedy dynamic with the other characters because of difference.

Why not Solomon Grundy then? He matches all of those requirements and it's about time we got to see him on the big screen.
