Suicide Squad: 28 WTF Moments

It's established early on that both Incubus and Enchantress are capable of God-like powers, and looking at the comic book characters suggests that they are able to heal themselves, manipulate non-organic matter and basically be terrifying.

So why are they both defeated by something as conventional as bombs?

First Incubus is lured into a trap in which he fights Diablo's fiery demon alter-ego, which should have been enough to kill him, since at one point Diablo literally reaches inside his chest to his heart. But then because the film needed a heroic sacrifice, he got a second wind, seemingly surviving his heart being burnt and over-powered Diablo only to be blown up by Scott Eastwood's bomb.

And then Enchantress's plan too is undone when a grenade belt is exploded inside her "machine" after her heart is damaged. It's almost as if the writers couldn't come up with a strong enough finish and just deferred to the least imaginative thing possible: like, wouldn't cutting her heart out stop her magic?
