1. More Batfleck!

However you felt about Batman v Superman, there's little sense doubting that Ben Affleck was perfectly cast as Batman. He might have been poorly under-fleshed as Bruce Wayne and his stature made his big secret a bit silly, but as the hulking new Dark Knight he was an impressive sight.

The revelation that he is now going to be involved with Suicide Squad more than might have been initially expected is a great one. Presumably, that means we'll see the Harley Quinn origin as the opening set-piece of the film, with Batman chasing Joker through Gotham and then saving Harley from the river and sending her off to jail.

More Batman in anything is always a good move, but the confidence Warner Bros are showing in Affleck should also hopefully mean he'll be given the stand-alone directing gig he so clearly deserves.
