Suicide Squad: 6 Things You Missed About Jared Leto's Joker

5. He Has A Goon Squad Of His Own

Despite the fact that nobody in their right mind would probably assume an employment position under the Joker in real life, the Joker of the Batman comic books and movies is never one to shy away from underlings; he's quite regularly glimpsed leading a band of mindless henchman or accompanied by faithful stooges (who always seem to die). As far as the new movie is concerned, it was unclear whether or not Suicide Squad's version of the Joker would come complete with his own goon squad, though the latest trailer seems to confirm (in a very subtle way) that yes, he will (and that's on top of Jim Parrack's recently confirmed Joker sidekick Johnny Frost, who can be glimpsed if you look real hard). In segments of a sequence that appears to depict a breakout of some sort (or perhaps it's a break-in?), a group of masked gunman can be seen either busting the Joker out of a secured zone, or getting him in. Our money's on it being the former, but that's a guess. The masks of said goons seen in the trailer are that of a panda, a faux-Batman, a baby, an eyeball and a goat (a goon squad isn't a good squad without a gun-wielding goat).
