Suicide Squad: 8 Ways Enchantress Is Way Worse Than Leto's Joker

2. The Role Preparation

In light of Jared Leto's infamously over-zealous preparation for his role as The Joker, you could be forgiven for thinking that the Suicide Squad set was a rollercoaster of people sending each other role-appropriate gifts and generally being extremely weird in the pursuit of pure method. That is very much not the case, if Cara Delevingne's comments about her preparation for the role are anything to go by. Rather than dredging the depths of her deep black soul like Jared Leto appears to be suggesting he did - or more importantly spending time actually getting to know the history of the character exhaustively (as Leto definitely has) - she just made sure her voice was different. And that she listened to some "evil" music:
"And I€™d last Nick Cave€™s Red Right Hand, that song about the devil. Also a lot of Megadeth. Just evil stuff.€
Megadeth is not evil. Not even James Hetfield thinks that. Seriously though, that can't have been the limit of how she got into character - it's like an actual joke answer.
