Rick Flagg is far from an icon, and he doesn't exactly have a costume either here or in the comic books which make him stand out from the crowd. The leader of the Suicide Squad looks like just another generic soldier, a shame when he's actually the leader of this team of villains. Even just his trademark yellow shirt might have helped him stand out somewhat. What's going to matter more in this instance is the performance, and a lot is riding on Joel Kinnaman to make Flagg a memorable part of this movie. Tom Hardy was originally set to play him, and it's easier to imagine him delivering something great. Still, here's hoping that Kinnaman's Flagg won't be as forgettable and ordinary as the costume he's wearing.
