Suicide Squad Leaked Trailer: 6 Things You Need To Know

Talk about saving the best until last! While anyone who saw the set photos of Batman chasing down Harley Quinn in that fancy sports car will know that it's The Joker who's driving, he doesn't make an appearance in this trailer until the very end.

The screen fades to black, and a guttural and creepy laugh rings out which sounds nothing like what's come before. It's more sadistic, a word which seems to sum up Jared Leto's take on the Clown Prince of Crime perfectly. "I'm not going to kill you," he tells whoever is strapped down to the guernsey he's standing over with what looks like surgical tools in his hands. "I'm just going to hurt you really, really, bad."

Shirtless and wearing the one purple glove, he's covered in the tattoos seen in the first official image and looks as deranged as you might hope. The voice sounds a little like Heath Ledger, though a little less exaggerated and generally more like Leto. The footage definitely gives the impression that this will be  fairly realistic take on The Joker, but with some of the qualities from the comics that previous live-action versions have been lacking. 

Rumour has it that The Joker spends the majority of this movie in a cell. Could this scene be a flashback of him torturing Robin? It's one possibility, but remains to be seen at this point...
