Played By: Adam Beach. Who's Adam Beach? He's appeared in films like Windtalkers, Joe Dirt and its sequel, Flags of Our Fathers, and Cowboys & Aliens, and has turned up on shows such as JAG, Hawaii Five-0, and a stint on Law & Order: SVU. The whole concept of the Suicide Squad hinges on the fact that each and every one of its villainous members is expendable in the eyes of those overseeing its existence. To think that the entire unit being introduced in the film is going to make it out the other end of the film whole would be foolish. Compared to the heavy hitters lining the film - Harley, the Joker, Deadshot, etc. - the rope-wielding Slipknot sticks out more than anyone else as a red shirt, included into the team roster to build it up but ultimately one that could easily be a casualty by film's end. And considering his comics history, in which his arm exploded when he tried to make a break for it, his role in the film could serve a similar purpose, showcasing just how high the stakes are for the other characters should they go against their mission.
