It's a legitimate concern: for many, Harley's iconic - and admittedly super annoying - accent is as synonymous with the character as her harlequin outfit. But then this isn't the typical cartoon version of the character; instead this is very obviously a New 52 infusion, taking her origin and her costume, and the decision to remove her accent might have been a conscious choice for distance.
