10. Fast 9 Is (Probably) Going To Show Dom's Father's Death

Universal dropped their epic four-minute reveal trailer for Fast 9 a few days before the Super Bowl, which revealed two major bombshells: John Cena will be playing Dom's (Vin Diesel) villainous brother Jakob Toretto, and Han Lue (Sung Kang) is finally back, revealing that he wasn't actually killed by Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) after all.

Though the Super Bowl spot doesn't feature much in the way of new footage, we did get a split-second hint at a potentially game-changing sequence we're probably going to see in the movie.

At the nine-second mark, we can see a race-car get purposefully catapulted into the air, and this is most likely a flashback to the death of Dom's father.

Remember, all the way back in the first movie, Dom mentioned that his dad died in a stock car race when a rival racer tapped his bumper, which lines up perfectly with what we're seeing here.

Whether the scene will simply flesh out Dom and Jakob's characters further or drop a plot twist revealing a different culprit behind their dad's death, we'll have to wait and see.
