9. John Krasinski Is In A Quiet Place Part II

The first trailer for A Quiet Place Part II revealed that the film would feature a flashback sequence showing the chaotic onset of the alien invasion, and we now have confirmation that director John Krasinski will indeed appear in those scenes as Lee Abbott, who of course sacrifices himself to save his children at the end of the first film.

While it follows that Krasinski won't have more than a fleeting cameo in the sequel, the actor-director has promised that Part II will reveal the cause of the extraterrestrials arriving on Earth, and we'll also presumably get some deeper character shading for the series' central family dynamic.

Unlike the first film, Krasinski also wrote the script and serves as a producer, so if he pulls it all off, he's got quite the multi-hypenate success on his hands here.
