Superman: Doomsday trailer

death_of_superman_big_1.jpgAnimated DVD's are a great avenue for Marvel and DC to produce films based on their classic stories. It's relatively cheap, quick to produce and keeps the interest in your big characters in between the big blockbuster movies. Superman: Doomsday is the latest straight to DVD offering from Warner Brothers and it doesn't look too bad. I was a huge fan of the story when I read it the first time, but now I'm not so sure it was any good. It came at a time when DC was going through some massive changes with their main characters and although at the time the stories were exciting in retrospect they were kinda stupid. Adam Baldwin voices Superman and James Marsden voices Lex Luthor. You can buy the DVD from your local store in September.

Thanks to Filmstalker and Whedonesque for the heads up!
