2. Tom Hardy
Why He Could: He's a fantastic actor, and generally boasts just enough edge that he's still likable even though he's unquestionably cocky in most of his movies. We know from his Bane voice that he could easily meet the demands of Batman's vocal register, oh, and his heartthrob status would make him as ripe a choice as anyone. And he probably wouldn't need to bulk up, either.
Why He Won't: He's already played Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, and given that Warner will want to appeal to not just comic book fans but also the most casual of viewers, they won't want to risk confusing people, as awesome as this choice would have the potential of being.
