1. Michael Fassbender
Why He Could: If other actors on this list have yet to prove themselves as far as their intimidating factor and sheer ferocity goes, we certainly won't have to worry about that with Michael Fassbender. In Shame, he demonstrated the profound weight of inner turmoil through a physically and emotionally bare performance, and in playing Magneto in X-Men: First Class, he made himself a force to be reckoned with, easily living up to Ian McKellen's legacy.
Why He Won't: There is no "but", other than for the fact that Fassbender has an extremely busy schedule moving forward, both with his commitments to the X-Men franchise, and also his starring in and producing the Assassin's Creed movie. Given that Creed is shooting for a June 2015 release date, which would probably coincide with Batman vs. Superman, it all but rules him out of the running sadly. It's a shame, as to me, he would make the
perfect Bruce Wayne if the logistics could be worked out (though as said before, Warner will likely opt for someone a fair few years younger than Fassbender). Who would you like to see wear the cape and cowl? Let us know in the comments below.
