Taika Waititi's Films: Ranked From Worst To Best
1. What We Do In The Shadows (2014)
One of the funniest mockumentaries of all time; and that's no easy feat in a genre filled with so many classics, but What We Do In Shadows deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Spinal Tap.
It's a film that should be revisited multiple times in order to catch all of the subtle lines that have in you stitches just as much as the big in-your-face gags that you might have missed first time around. And much like the aforementioned Spinal Tap, Shadows is just as quotable; 'We're Werewolf's not swearwolfs.'
Every character is perfectly cast, with everyone getting there share of hilarious moments, with the ridiculous premise heightening the humour of the more mundane scenarios such as chores in a house share setting; 'Vampire's don't do dishes'.
With Waititi on board as a producer and even director, there is every reason to be extremely excited about the TV series version coming soon.
