Ted 2 Super Bowl Trailers: 41 Things You Need To See
In which Tom Brady almost gets his sperm jacked.
The idea of a sequel to outrageous buddy comedy Ted was always going to be a difficult sell to the cynics: without a justifiable storyline it would have just been another exercise in Seth MacFarlane over-extending a joke. But it does look like the Family Guy creator has landed on a smart enough concept that ties in to the original spirit and won't devolve into 2 hours of furry penis jokes.
And if it does, you have to suspect those who loved the first film will only love it more anyway.
This time out Ted's problems are on a legal slant: he's getting married, he wants kids and unfortunately, the great state of Massachusetts doesn't believe he's actually a real person. He chooses to fight the power, with thunder buddy Mark Wahlberg in tow: hell, if it worked for Santa Claus, it's got to be good for a bear who was once a national celebrity.
One extended trailer was released before the big game: inevitably risque, very adult and extremely outrageous - just as fans will want it to be - while the big game spot was reserved for a 30 second tease featuring star attraction Tom Brady and the suggestion of aggressive sperm-jacking.
