Teen Titans Go! To The Movies Review: 7 Ups & 2 Downs

5. The Superb Voice Work

A big part of the reason why this movie works so damn well is the terrific vocal performances across the board.

Of course, original Teen Titans Go! voice actors Scott Menville, Hynden Walch, Khary Payton, Tara Strong and Greg Cipes once again deliver splendid performances as Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven and Beast Boy respectively, but Will Arnett (who also produced the film) gives perhaps the most evocative performance as the villainous Slade Wilson.

That's to say nothing of English comedian Greg Davies' spirited turn as early antagonist Balloon Man, Michael Bolton's hilarious role as Tiger, and the many smaller cameo roles which fill out the rest of the roster (but more on that in a moment).

Nobody's phoning it in here for an easy paycheck - because the small budget wouldn't allow that anyway - and the diversity of the larger-than-life performances only further accentuate the film's heightened, surreal tone.
