Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out Of The Shadows Review – 2 Ups And 3 Downs
Well, at least it's a bit better.

When hockey-obsessed vigilante Casey Jones meets the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for the first time in Out Of The Shadows, he goes straight into an alien-fearing freak-out, explaining how humans are food and that the strange beasts shouldn't eat him.
Its an obvious jab on the part of Michael Bay at the time he said the reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would ditch the adolescence and the transfiguration, instead making them extra-terrestrials, much to the audience's dismay, which is pretty fitting; there's a big feeling that Out Of The Shadows is trying to atone for the sins of just about everything involved in the first movie, one of the most head-bangingly awful films of the past few years.
And number two is ultimately better. In fact, I'd say it's the best of all these Michael Bay-produced approximations of nostalgia properties. Obviously that's not saying all that much, and the film is certainly mired in the same root problems that made the previous film and Transformers such struggles to sit through.
